Yes — Bay Breeze is completely free and never expires. Your listing remains active as long as your account is in good standing. You can upgrade at any time to unlock more features.

Question 2

How does billing work? Monthly vs. yearly?

Accepted Answer

You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly billing saves you approximately 17% compared to paying month-to-month. Your subscription renews automatically on your billing date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Question 3

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately and your billing is prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep all current-tier features until then.

Question 4

What happens to my photos, deals, and events if I downgrade?

Accepted Answer

Your content is never deleted. If you downgrade from Seaside Select (10 photos) to Coastal Cruiser (5 photos), your extra photos are hidden from your public listing but remain in your dashboard. If you upgrade again, they are restored automatically.

What does "managed ads" actually mean in practice?

Emerald Elite is the only tier that includes this. Our team acts as your ad agency — we create ad creatives, set up targeting, launch paid campaigns on your behalf, and send you monthly performance reports. No separate ad spend budget is required.

Question 6

What does category exclusivity mean for Emerald Elite?

Accepted Answer

Emerald Elite is limited to exactly 2 businesses per category across the entire platform. This guarantees your top placement can never be pushed down by another Elite advertiser. Once 2 spots are filled in a category, no new Elite applications are accepted for that category.

Question 7

Can I cancel my subscription and will I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of your paid period — there are no pro-rated refunds for unused time. After cancellation, your listing reverts to Bay Breeze (free) automatically.

What photo and video formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP — up to 10MB per file. Videos: MP4 is recommended, MOV is also supported — up to 100MB per file. We automatically optimize images for fast loading using our CDN.

Question 9

How long does it take for my listing to go live?

Accepted Answer

Business listings are typically reviewed and approved within 1 business day. Deals and events are usually approved within a few hours. You'll receive an email notification once your content is live.

Question 10

How do deals and coupon codes work?

Accepted Answer

Active deals appear on your listing and in the platform-wide Deals feed. When you add a coupon code, customers tap it to copy and show it at checkout. The platform does not process payments — redemption is handled entirely by your business.

Question 11

Where do my videos appear?

Accepted Answer

Videos are embedded on your listing page. Gulf Gold and Emerald Elite businesses are also eligible to appear in the platform's Vibe Video feed on the homepage — a TikTok-style scrollable reel that showcases local business atmosphere.

Question 12

What analytics data is tracked?

Accepted Answer

Depending on your tier: profile views, website link clicks, phone number taps, directions clicks, deal clicks, photo gallery views, video plays, and favorites. Coastal Cruiser gets view counts; Seaside Select adds click-throughs; Gulf Gold and above add conversion events and detailed breakdowns.
